Silent Auction in support of ‘Blues in the Schools’ & ‘Be in the Band’

For the past 13 years, a major undertaking for the Bluesfest organization has been delivering its highly successful Blues in the Schools (BITS) program.

In January 2009, we launched our new 'Be in the Band' initiative. Since then, the organization has expanded this program to include at-risk youth in various communities.

Many community-minded organizations show their support for these music education programs through contributions to our ever-popular Silent Auction, held on-site in 'Bluesville' during the festival. In 2011, we held another successful Silent Auction and continued growth of our community programs. Click here to see the great list of donors and items confirmed to date.
