Visit Bluesville For the past 13 years, as a non-profit charitable organization, RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest has organized, financed, and delivered an award-winning educational program called ‘Blues in the Schools’. It is thanks to the ongoing support from the community that the organization has been able to maintain this undertaking in such a successful manner. By merely attending RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest, Ottawa music fans have been among our biggest supporters. In fact, there are many ways to support Blues in the Schools. Once again this year, we will be housing these fun ways to raise money for the program in one common area. So please visit “Bluesville” for your opportunity to cash in on some great deals for a great cause! Some of the highlights include: The ‘Best Seats in the House’ Auction, where fans can bid for a pair of seats on-stage for certain headliners; the ever-popular Silent Auction; the Guitar Raffle—raffle participants can win a Fender Stratocaster generously donated by Steve’s Music Store and autographed by visiting Bluesfest performers, and sales of beads and commemorative posters.
Mill Street Pub Long known as a ‘Hot Spot’ for music, Bluesfest is also known as a ‘Hot Spot’ for fun . . . And now, thanks to Mill Street Brewery becoming the exclusive beer supplier for the internationally acclaimed music festival, the fun will include one of Canada's favourite pastimes—enjoying a high-quality frosty one in the great outdoors. Mill Street Brewery produces handcrafted lagers and ales, including their Original Organic Lager, Stock Ale, and Tankhouse Ale. Now, music fans will be able to tap into those varieties—and more—at Bluesfest. Not only will a selection of these products be available at the existing beer tents, there will also be a Mill Street Pub on site, offering an even wider variety of specialty beers in a pub-like atmosphere. So, Cheers to one and all . . . and we'll see you at the pub.
Giant Tiger Autograph Tent RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest organizers are proud to announce that Bluesfest’s ever-popular autograph tent will be sponsored by Giant Tiger. The Giant Tiger Autograph Tent will provide an opportunity for fans to meet their favourite musicians and get an autograph. Imagine the photo ops!
Artisans' Village The Village is an eclectic mix of the region’s most talented clothing, jewellery and craft vendors ever assembled in one location. Even Bluesfest musicians have been spotted shopping for that special something to bring back home! The Artisans' Village is open everyday throughout the festival.
